All frames are built from hardwoods; kiln-dried red oak or poplar.
All frames are glued and corner blocked to guarantee a tight frame. A special frame staple is then liberally applied to all joints to insure additional reinforcement.
All frames are thoroughly webbed with a synthetic webbing known for its durability and strength.
All seating is supported by 10 gauge coil springs, where applicable. These are hand-tied at 8 points on each coil. This ensures that springs remain upright and do not roll, allowing maximum support.
All padding is of premium quality. Ambrose Furniture Works uses 3/4 ounce bonded Dacron for all foam cushions and outsides of frames.

Ambrose Furniture Works offers custom-fitted down cushioning for any piece of furniture that we build or reupholster. A superior fit and feel is assured as all cushions are fabricated in-house.

All prices are estimated with foam down wrap seat cushions. Back cushions are 25/75 down fill. For budget considerations, we offer contract frames that are the same construction as our other frames with the exception of the coil springs, which are replaced with 10-gauge, no-sag springs and foam rather than down cushioning. We carry only high-resiliency, flame-retardant foam.
